Newfoundland and Labrador's Public Utilities Board caps self-serve regular at 220.6¢/L in Zone 1 (Avalon Peninsula) as of October 6, 2026; across all 25 zones the cap runs from 189.6¢/L (Central Labrador) to 235.3¢/L (Grey River / François / Grand Bruit / La Poile).

Since April 1, 2026 the board has reset prices daily, Tuesday to Saturday, instead of once a week. Its 153 orders this year include 130 daily adjustments.

In Zone 1 the cap includes 7.5¢ provincial tax, a regulated carbon cost adjustment of 10.5¢/L, and 15% HST; federal excise is at zero until January 31, 2027.
